BBH Asia Pacific hires Creative Technologist

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 2, 2010 – BBH Asia Pacific has appointed Thijs Jacobs as creative technologist to bring in his digital expertise for the agency.
 
Thijs’ core competencies revolve around technology, design, web development and product management. He has been based in Beijing for the past five years where he has provided his skills in the creation of internet applications for both Western and local markets as director of Digital Innovation at Ogilvy One China, spearheading the agency’s Digital Innovation Lab.
 
He then went to Linkool Labs as its chief technology officer, where he helped launch Juice, first plugin to be bundled with Firefox, which was later acquired by Mozilla.
 
“Thijs is a rare mixture of a creative mind combined with profound technological expertise and an unusually strong commercial understanding," said BBH Asia Pacific Managing Director Frances Great.
