Starcom MediaVest Group has appointed Gladys Basinillo as Chief Growth Officer and Head of Agency starting December 18, 2017.
The appointment comes after Basinillo took a break from media work in October 2017 to take care of family matters. She has previously been with Carat for more than five years and held the post of CEO upon her resignation in July of this year. Among her achievements in Carat was bringing the agency to number 2 in RECMA’s qualitative ranking, winning new accounts and awards, and establishing Carat Play.
She currently sits as president of the Media Specialists Association of the Philippines (MSAP) and will hold the position until the elections this December.
