With over 30% of judging complete, 154 entries have been selected to go into the D&AD Annual – representing the best creative work of the year. Of these, 32 have been nominated for a D&AD Pencil.
The winners will be announced at the D&AD Awards Ceremony & Dinner on 3 June at The Roundhouse, London.

“We’ve shown that even a volcano can’t stop Judging from going ahead – an event that really showed the industry’s commitment to D&AD, with people driving across Europe and changing their schedules at very short notice to be here,’ said D&AD President Paul Brazier.
“There’s also been speculation about the impact of the recession on creativity. From what I’ve seen so far, though, this all couldn’t be further from the truth. Maybe it’s because creatives are used to turning negatives into positives, but right now I’d say that great creativity is winning the day against the forces of the economy and nature.”
