PHILIPPINES – If you think you stand for the best the Filipino digital animation and film has to offer, here’s your chance to represent the country in a regional competition.

The Philippine leg of the Digicon Animation and Movie Awards is now open for entries. Eligible submissions include 3D and 2D computer graphic animations, live-action films shot or edited by digital movie equipment and all 3D-rendered films, including stop-motion and clay animation. Amateur and professional digital content creators are invited to join.

A panel of judges from Japan will select the top three winners, one of which will compete in the 12th Digicon Animation and Movie Awards in Tokyo, Japan. This is the country’s first time to be represented in the competition and compete against content creators from across Asia.
