Lim says that he is tasked to  “spearhead the use of digital marketing in all fronts of McCann and digitize the culture of the agency.”

Lim’s experience in the digital media makes him a valuable hire for McCann Worldgroup Philippines. He was the former President & CEO of Yehey Corporation and Media Contacts, which handles digital AOR assignments for P&G, Unilever and Unilab. He is also an authority in the Philippine digital industry, as the founding President of IMMAP (Internet and Mobile Marketing Association of the Philippines), where he was instrumental in the establishment of the digital code of standards and ethics, and in the introduction of the country’ Digital Diploma Program.

Ricki Arches, McCann Worldgroup Philippines President & CEO, expressed her confidence in Lim.

“Donald’s appointment is a clear indication that McCann is set to become a formidable force in the digital space. Under Donald’s leadership, MRM will deliver a new level of marketing ideas and solutions and become an even stronger contributor to the best-in-class integrated solutions that McCann Worldgroup is known for.”

Lim is also very happy with his choice. Competing with ATL agencies in the past, Lim says that joining an advertising agency may be a good change.  He says that “being part of an advertising giant will allow me to practice what I preach: Integrate digital in all practices of advertising and marketing.”

Lim’s familiarity of McCann’s people and its management also helped him in his decision to join the agency.

“I have a lot of respect to the McCann team and I look forward to learning from them. This is my first foray into the agency business, so where better else to learn than from the best?”
