Juggi Ramakrishnan, Lawin Bulatao & Peter Acuña step in for jury duty

The Creative Guild announced changes in the Kidlat jury, which is slated to begin work this coming weekend. Ogilvy Asia Pacific exchanged Regional Creative President Eugene Cheong for Deputy Regional Creative Director Juggi Ramakrishnan. Among the local jury members, Publicis JimenezBasic ECD Don Sevilla and McCann Worldgroup Chief Creative Officer Raul Castro decided to tend the home fires and send Creative Directors Lawin Bulatao and Peter Acuña in their stead.

Juggi Ramakrishnan began his advertising career at Lintas India in the early nineties.< width="100" height="150" align="right" src=" Juggi-Ramakrishnan(1). " alt="" /> He moved to Singapore in 1995, working at the Ball Partnership for a year and then Saatchi & Saatchi for 11 years. In 2008, he joined BBDO Singapore as executive creative director. A year later, he moved to Ogilvy Asia.

Juggi has consistently stayed at the top of Campaign Brief Asia’s creative rankings for over a decade, and is currently ranked as the 9th most awarded creative in Asia. Juggi’s work is regularly seen at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, Communication Arts, Clio, Australian Award, Asia Pacific Adfest and Media Spikes. He has been in the writing section of D&AD three times in the last 10 years, and was awarded a Silver Pencil in 2006.

The 3rd Kidlat Awards, which is a "purely creative" competition, happens from April 12 to 14, on the island of Boracay. Two hundred creatives are expected to attend the creative summit, which ends in the presentation of the Ads of the Year and the Ads of the Decade.
