ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, NOVEMBER 2010 – Kinetic Singapore Executive Creative Director Pann Lim and Creative Director Jonathan Yuen (Interactive) Kinetic Singapore will chair Crowbar Awards 2011, 4As Singapore’s platform for young creatives. The heads of jury will be announced shortly.

Lim has won over 200 industry awards and has judged at local and international award shows such as the Kancil, Creative Circle Clio, and D&AD Awards. He has been representing Kinetic in the industry for 12 years and has been involved with The Design Society, where he grooms the next generation of designers.
Yuen is a multi-disciplinary graphic designer who has been honored by numerous regional and international award shows such as D&AD, Cannes, One Show, YoungGuns, The Art Directors Club and Spikes Asia, including winning the first and only Interactive Gong ever awarded at the Singapore Creative Circle Awards.
Having been in the Crowbar panel previously, the pair believe that the award can be the break for young creatives: “It’s their break into the highly competitive advertising and design industry as there are only a handful of good job openings a year. It’s a platform for them to showcase their talent, to pluck up their courage and be open to judgment from industry veterans as well as their peers.”
Started in 2001 as a local student’s creative show, the Crowbar Awards is an annual platform for emerging young creatives to showcase their best works.
