McCann Worldgroup Thailand wins big at BAD 2010

ASIA-PACIFIC – BANGKOK, THAILAND, DECEMBER 13, 2010 – McCann Worldgroup had a most awarding night at B.A.D., the Bangkok Art Directors’ show, with a total of 28 winners across all major categories.

“I’m very proud of our achievement, winning for nine very different clients.  It just goes to show the strength of the agency across integrated communications,” said Martin Lee, Chief Creative Officer of McCann Worldgroup.

The agency did particularly well in digital communications winning a total of six Best, 13 Certificates and two Finalists for 11 different campaigns across three clients – LG Electronics, the Tourism Authority of Thailand and Chevrolet Motors. K Saharath Sawadatikom, executive creative director of MRM, the digital division of McCann Worldgroup said, “This is the year of the digital revolution for us and I am so glad that we have achieved the honour of being the best digital agency in Thailand.”

This is the first time that McCann Worldgroup Thailand has won this many awards in the history of Bangkok Art Directors, Thailand’s premier creative awards show. The wins complement McCann Worldgroup’s other successes this year at Cannes, Spikes and The Work.
