No Grand Prix for Radio Lions

 As the Radio Lions awarding commenced, there turned out to be no Grand Prix this year.

 
Euro RSCG Worldwide New York won one Gold Lion for its Heineken campaign which included “Cinco”, “Halloween”, “Standard”, and “Signs”. Colombian Red Cross “Helicopter”, “Ambulance”, “Operation” by Leo Burnett Colombia took home one Gold Lion Campaign.
 
Eight other radio ads were awarded Gold Lions:
 

-Procter & Gamble “Battle” by Lapiz Chicago won two, in different categories

-Sears “Universe Diorama”, by Y&R New York, took home two, in different categories

-Sky Television “Pollock” by DDB New Zealand Auckland

-Cultura Iglesia “Dial” by Lew’LaraTBWA Sao Paulo

-Aids Task Force “SDIA Project” by Shalmor Avnon Amichay/Y&R Interactive Tel Aviv

 

Asian winners include Kythe Foundation “Jun Jun” and “Jen Jen” by JWT Manila, which were awarded one Bronze Lion. India took home one Silver Lion. Japan and Indonesia shared three Bronze Lions:
 
-Bajaj Electricals “Pleasure of Mixing” by Leo Burnett Mumbai India got one Silver Lion

-Panasonic “A Salaryman’s Life”, and “Letter” by Daiko Advertising Osaka won two Bronze Lions

-Panasonic Globe Indonesia “Family Portrait” by PT Perwanal Saatchi & Saatchi Jakarta won one Bronze Lion
