Vargas is elated about being in Ho Chi Minh City and finds the energy of the city extremely contagious. “It’s a city that’s full of life and hope. Great creativity comes from having lots of energy and plenty of joy. And this town isn’t short of either. Ho Chi Minh City has the sparkle that Singapore had perhaps 10 years ago. And that sparkle will help Grey Group Vietnam become creatively famous. We are already creating some killer campaigns and it’s only the beginning. I strongly believe we will be the ‘Mother’ of the East.”

Rakhit talks of Vargas joining Grey Group Vietnam: “George is sure to inject personality into this agency. We’re young, passionate and rearing to go, and George brings his own brand of creative inspiration that will take us to the next level and simultaneously strengthen our offering across all disciplines.”

Vargas has claimed numerous accolades at most of the region’s and world’s renowned advertising award shows- Cannes, One Show, New York Festivals, London International Awards, The Singapore Creative Circle Awards, Communication Arts Awards and Caxton Awards Australia and many of his campaigns have been published in Lurzer’s Archive.

He has also tutored advertising students at Sydney’s AWARD School and held 7 Painting and Photography exhibitions in Sydney.

Nirvik Singh, Chairman & CEO of Grey Group Asia Pacific is strongly focused on raising the creative mettle of the network and the last few months has seen strong creative minds joining the network across Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and India.
