TBWATEQUILA Hong Kong focuses on Olympus digital cameras

ASIA-PACIFIC–MARCH 9, 2011– Olympus has appointed TBWA\TEQUILA Hong Kong as its agency of record, overseeing above-the-line communications for their upcoming launch of a new line of digital cameras.
 
TBWA\TEQUILA\Hong Kong has launched Olympus XZ-1, the new line of digital cameras, with an above-the-line campaign featuring a 30-second TV commercial, print, outdoor and online advertising.
 

 
"People in Hong Kong and China are among the earliest adopters of new digital camera technology. The XZ-1 is the first-ever digital compact camera to feature a Zuiko branded lens of big aperture– f/1.8. The XZ-1 has a bright, high resolution OLED screen and its high sensitivity sensor gives users excellent control," said Edmond Wong, marketing manager of imaging Business Division for Olympus in Hong Kong and China.
 
Wong added, "The XZ-1 packs a lot of punch into a small package, pushing it to the top of its class. It means that you don’t have to compromise professional quality over the convenience of carrying a compact digital camera."
