The Sahara Network for Cervical Cancer Awareness “Touch Lives” Party

Cervical Cancer is the second most deadly type of cancer in the country. Twelve women die of this disease every day, and majority of the mortality percentage belongs to developing countries like the Philippines.

The Sahara Network for Cervical Cancer Awareness is a community of women who share the same goal to battle against the killer cancer. It serves to educate women on early prevention and detection with the Cervical Cancer Prevention Network Program (CECAP), its ally.

In celebration of the Cervical Cancer Awareness month this May, The Sahara Network is inviting you to the Touch Lives party at The Stock Market, B3 Bonifacio High Street on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm. This will be done in partnership with CECAP, Yvette Floro Bags, GlaxoSmithKline, and Modess Angels. GSK will be donating 36 vaccines to 12 lucky guests. Advocates, doctors, supporters, and volunteers are welcome to participate in the cause.
