Y&R’s Tony Granger is Cannes Lions 2011 Film and Press jury chairman

GLOBAL – LONDON, UK, NOVEMBER 23,2010 –   Young & Rubicam Global Chief Creative Officer Tony Granger has been named jury chair of both the Film and Press juries at Cannes Lions 2011.

Since arriving at Young & Rubicam in 2008, Tony has transformed the network and its brands, attracting some of the industry’s best creative talent and fully integrating digital into the agency. This has resulted in radically refreshed work for clients including Virgin Atlantic, Land Rover, LG and Telefonica.

Prior to joining Y&R, Granger also orchestrated a renaissance at Saatchi & Saatchi and Bozell New York. He began his career in his native South Africa, where he led TBWA/Hunt Lascaris, a shop of proud heritage and creative pedigree.

Under Granger’s creative leadership, Y&R ranked third among global networks, leaping forward five places in a single year; Y&R New York was the number one agency in the US and second globally. Also in 2010, Young & Rubicam was named Network of the Year by the Art Directors Club, New York Festivals and London International Awards.
