To create its launching pad for its 2007 design competition (which sent two lucky winners to the Nuova Accademia delle Belle Arti or NABA in Milan last year), adobo magazine turned to Team Manila. Fast forward to November and the Adobo Design Competition 2007 makes its global unveiling.
Die Gestaten is a pun in German, meaning both “the creatures” and “they design.” Die Gestaten Verlag is an international design publications group with over 250 books in circulation and is known for championing cutting-edge and classic visual culture and trends in graphic design, multidisciplinary, print and world topics.
Upon DGV’s invitation, Team Manila sent samples of its work for publication. Among the designs, the Adobo Design Competition 2007 poster was DGV’s choice feature.
