Ogilvy CD is new Redworks Manila creative head

PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 13, 2010 – Redworks Manila, the design and production unit of Ogilvy & Mather Philippines, recently announced the appointment of Alnair Langkay as its Creative Head.

Redworks General Manager Arvin Sanchez said, "Alnair is recognized in the industry as a high caliber art-based creative, with local and international awards to prove it. As Creative Head, he is responsible for raising the level of quality and efficiency of our creative output as well as the talent development of the team reporting to him. ”

Aside from traditional studio operations, Redworks delivers various design and communication requirements, digital production, video editing, and broadcast production. “We call Redworks a ‘beautiful factory’ whose global hubs access over 900 talented craftsman and creatives in over 40 offices worldwide," added Sanchez. "What sets us apart is our small-shop mindset: offering cost-effective, fast but always high-quality brand communications in both traditional and digital media. Clients include Ponds, Dove, Tang, VistaLand, Nike, AmEx, PAL, KFC and ABI.

Before joining Redworks Manila, Alnair was creative director at Ogilvy & Mather. Said Ogilvy & Mather Advertising Managing Director Peachy Pacquing, “I have seen Alnair grow in this agency and evolve from the trainee who clocks in at 7 a.m. everyday to become everyone’s (both agency and clients) go-to guy. He is a tremendous asset for Redworks to deliver on their clients’ requirements.”

Alnair graduated with a degree in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University.  He was only a trainee when he created his first TVC. On his second year, he won Gold and Bronze with five Finalists in the Philippine Araw Awards. In the same year, together with his partner, he won the Best Young Creative Team of the Philippines and represented the country in the Young Creatives Competition in the Asian Advertising Festival.

As part of his training, Alnair also worked in Ogilvy Singapore under Sonal Dabral. In 2007, he was ranked the number 12 Creative in the Philippines by Campaign Brief Asia. To date, Alnair has won numerous awards both locally and internationally, including wins in the Cannes Lions for three years.
