Day 2 of Mad Stars 2023 brings you insights on data and creativity, this era of Ukrainian advertising, and more

BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA — MAD STARS 2023 welcomes attendees to the second day of its festival today and a diverse array of sessions by speakers from throughout the world.

The MAD STARS 2023 festival is built around the theme, “Reboot!,” celebrating the opportunity to refresh for the post-pandemic era. It aims to inspire creativity that will change the world and contribute to mankind in a meaningful way.

The keynote speaker for MAD STARS day two is Artwell Nwaila, Head of Creative & Partner Ecosystem, Sub-Saharan Africa at Google. In his session, “Leveraging Data to Amplify Creativity in Advertising,” he notes that many organizations still view data and creativity as separate entities in the advertising process. He challenges this notion and describes how data can enhance the creative process by providing insights into audience preferences, behaviors, and trends. He also explores how creativity can bring data to life by weaving it into compelling stories that resonate with audiences.
