Awards: The Gerety Awards 2022 winners are in — APAC agencies clinch 14 accolades

PARIS, FRANCE — The Gerety Awards, the only creative prize to reward advertising campaigns that resonate most with a female audience, has announced this year’s set of winners which include 5 Grand Prix, 34 Gold, 58 Silver, and 77 Bronze, with 139 entries remaining on the shortlist. The Grand Prix was awarded to Bodyform/Libresse, VICE Media, Channel 4, and Whirlpool.

With judging sessions annually held around the world, The Gerety Awards brings together some of the greatest creative leaders to look at work from the female lens. This year, APAC stood out with 14 wins distributed to 9 creative agencies.

India topped the region’s overall performance, garnering 6 awards, including two Grand Prix. Japan, The Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand all followed, contributing 2 metals each to APAC’s collective win.

Grand jury member Madonna Badger, the founder and chief creative officer of Badger Agency, said, “Being a part of a Gerety Award Jury is such an honor and a privilege. Frances Gerety was a legendary woman in advertising. And like most creative women, she appreciated great work no matter the gender of who created it. The work, however, is judged through a female lens, which is so unique and very important to our industry.”

Veronica Phua, an award-winning content creator and Grand Jury member for Singapore, added, “The power of excellent communication was never more apparent than when I was reviewing this year’s shortlist as part of the Grand Jury. It spoke volumes about how razor-sharp and insightful work can help make an impact and kickstart real change.
