D&AD Awards unveils 2025 jury; 5 jury presidents from Asia

LONDON, UK – The D&AD Awards, recognized worldwide as the ultimate benchmark for creative excellence, continue to inspire and shape the future of design and advertising across industries and generations.

D&AD announced a distinguished panel of leading creative experts from across 50 countries to evaluate this year’s entries and determine the recipients of the coveted Pencils. Among them, 29 creative leaders from Asia were appointed to the jury, with five selected to serve as Jury Presidents.

Representing the Philippines, Joey David Tiempo, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Octopus&Whale, leads as the Gaming & Virtual Worlds Jury President. Akae Wang, Head of Creative at Banana Balloon Shenzhen, presides over the Digital Design jury. Neha Tulsian, Founder and Executive Creative Director of NH1Design India, heads the Packaging Design jury. Kinya Tagawa, Chief Executive Officer of Takram Japan, leads the Product Design jury, while Boyoung Lee, EVP of Brand Experience & Digital Innovation at SHINSEGAE South Korea, serves as the Luxury Jury President.

Key Dates

The D&AD Awards judging will take place from May 18 to 21, 2025, culminating in the announcement of the shortlists for all categories on May 20 and 21, 2025. Following this, the D&AD Festival will be held from May 21 to 22, 2025 at the Southbank Centre, London. featuring keynote talks, judges’ insight sessions, networking events, and an exhibition celebrating the best in creativity. The awards ceremony will take place on May 22, 2025 where the coveted Pencils will be presented in person, marking the grand finale of this prestigious creative celebration.
