LONDON, UK – As part of the 40th annual LIA Festival, top creatives from the Health & Pharma space within the ad industry, as well as master craftspeople, will be part of the three LIA Health & Pharma juries. These juries will convene at Encore @ Wynn Las Vegas from 25th September through 3rd October. The juries have been tasked with awarding the best work for 2025.
As with all judging at LIA, the creative excellence threshold is high. Nothing gets by any of the juries as every juror has to see every piece of work within their respective categories. All work is judged onsite with no pre-judging, so nothing slips through the cracks. LIA is all about celebrating the best work.
Stephanie Berman, Global Chief Creative Officer of The Bloc will preside over the Health & Wellness jury. Stephanie herself is a past winner of LIA and many other top awards shows. She is recognized as an exceptional mentor and strong collaborator, galvanizing teams to deliver both brilliant work and business results.
Stephanie stated, “I am thrilled to be chairing the Health & Wellness jury this year. We’ve seen such amazing work in this space over the last few years, and the bar continues to rise, with all kinds of companies looking to drive positive change in the service of good health. This is a show that not only operates with integrity, but gives back in a very meaningful way to up and coming talent in our industry, so I’m particularly looking forward to celebrating what’s new and what’s next with the jury at LIA this year.”
The Pharma & Medical Jury will be guided by Collette Douaihy, Global Chief Creative Officer, Health at Dentsu Health. Collette was named the Healthcare Marketing Influencer 25 Class of 2024. Collette has been the recipient of awards from LIA, Cannes Lions and many other notable shows.Â
In accepting her second time as Jury President, Collette, said, “It’s such an honor to chair the Pharma & Medical jury. What I love most about LIA is the laid-back vibe and the open exchange of opinions. It’s a one-of-a-kind judging experience where you evaluate incredible work and learn from diverse perspectives through casual conversation. This makes LIA an exceptionally unique and rewarding experience to be part of. I anticipate seeing work that reflects the growing trend of brands and tech companies embracing the customer experience in fresh and innovative ways to connect with audiences. In today’s world, experiences are the brand, and the brand is the experience.”
To lead the Health & Wellness-Craft and Pharma & Medical-Craft Jury is Steve Martin, Creative Director – EMEA & Global of Syneos Health. He is known as a disruptor who challenges industry norms and pushes the boundaries of health and wellness marketing. He has earned many prestigious awards from the industry for his work across channels that deeply connect with audiences.
In taking on the role of Jury President, Steve said, “I am deeply honored to chair this year’s Health & Wellness-Craft and Pharma & Medical-Craft jury at LIA. Craft is at the heart of powerful storytelling, and these categories continue to push creative boundaries year after year. LIA provides a platform to recognize and celebrate the highest standards of craftsmanship, shining a light on work that not only inspires but also demonstrates the transformative power of our industry.
I’m looking forward to thought-provoking discussions with fellow industry leaders, dissecting the details that elevate great work to truly exceptional. I anticipate seeing groundbreaking ideas, meticulous execution, and emotionally resonant storytelling, work that redefines how we communicate in health and wellness.”
Barbara Levy, President of LIA said, “Health & Pharma advertising offers something that directly impacts the lives of consumers with a real need, the approach has become more empathetic, authentic and approachable. We have on these juries the best people, who from their real-world experiences and creative expertise know how to engage and deliver fresh work that resonates with consumers. When you have the best practitioners in the room, you will get the best results.”
