The Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies of the Philippines, or 4As Philippines, held the 2026 Agency of the Year (AOY) Awards on September 25 at the Fifth at Rockwell in Makati City.
For 28 years, the AOY has carried a nickname the industry doesn’t dispute: “The Award That Matters.” Unlike creative-only accolades, AOY judges agencies across the full spectrum of the business—creative output, market performance, management of business, and industry leadership.
This year’s edition, themed “Creative Revolution” and inspired by the phenakistoscope-–the earliest form of animation—arrives as the industry navigates its own rapid reinvention, with AOY Chair and TBWA\ SMP Chief Operations Officer Portia Catuira leading a jury of senior creative and business leaders in recognizing the agencies that defined the year.
Four agencies repeatedly took the spotlight throughout the awards ceremony: TBWA\SMP, BBDO Guerrero, Seven A.D., and Intersections Communications.
TBWA\SMP bagged eight (8) wins in total, the most of any single agency in this year’s roster, spanning Network, Digital, PR, Brand Experience, and NextGen categories. BBDO Guerrero‘s four (4) awards, on the other hand, focused on Creative, Market Performance, and Digital.
With four (4) wins, Seven A.D. swept almost all the Independent Agency of the Year awards, except for Industry Leadership and Community Service, which went to Jayme Headquarters.
Intersections Communications certainly upped the ante this year, with four awards compared to one plate in 2025.
