ABS-CBN celebrates 60th anniversary

MANILA, AUGUST 16, 2013- ABS-CBN brings back iconic scenes from past shows that revives old shows that reflected stories of Filipinos in a music video, Kwento Natin Ito, celebrating  the network’s 60th anniversary.
 
The Philippine’s Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla and daughter Zia Quizon lent their voices for the nostalgic station ID. It pays tribute to the many experiences of Filipinos depicted in  ABS-CBN’s dramas, sitcoms, reality-game shows, news programs and fantaseryes

The video includes short clips of the past shows of the station such as from phenomenal hits such asPangako Sa’Yo, Tayong Dalawa,Princess and I, and Walang Hanggan and game shows like Star in A Million, Star Circle Quest,Pinoy Dream Academy,Pilipinas Game KNB?,Pinoy Big Brother, and Pilipinas Got Talent. The station also shared laughter in such aswith Kapamilyas in titles such asKaya Ni Mister Kaya Ni Misis,Palibhasa Lalake,Abangan ang Susunodna Kabanata, and Home Along Da Riles and talk shows like Jullie, Teysi ng Tahanan, Homeboy, and Today with Kris Aquino. Clips from Marina, Kokey, Dyosa, and Agua Bendita were also remembered in the video. included in the video.
 
The ABS-CBN Philharmonic Orchestra provided the musical accompaniment for Kwento Natin Ito,arranged by John Carl Denina, and orchestrated and conducted by Gerard Salonga. Robert Labayen wrote the lyrics, composed and produced by Ferdinand Dimadura.

The 60 Years production team was supervised by ABS-CBN’s creative account heads Edsel Misenas, Kathrina Sanchez, Danie Sedilla-Cruz, and Dang Baldonado. Christine Daria- Estabillo, promo copywriters Chiz Constantino-Perez and Sheryl Ramos are the brains behind the concept, while Peewee Gonzales directed the music video.
