Goafest reveals Advertising Conclave speakers

ASIA-PACIFIC – DELHI, INDIA, MARCH 2, 2012: The Goafest Committee names the internationally acclaimed speakers for the event. They are: Jonathan Mildenhall, global advertising strategy and content excellence vice president, The Coca-Cola Company; Jean Yves Naouri, chief operating officer & member of Management Board, Publicis Groupe SA; Tim Love, vice chairman of Omnicom Group; Steve King,CEO, ZenithOptimedia and Jayant Murty, Director of Strategy, Media & Integrated Marketing, Asia Pacific, Intel Corporation. 

The Advertising Conclave will be held on April 19 at the Zuri White Sands in South Goa. This will be followed by two days of Goafest at the same venue on April 20-21.
 
Mildenhall joined The Coca-Cola Company in December 2006 and is responsible for leading global creative vision and strategy for the Company’s portfolio of global brands including Coca-Cola, Sprite, Fanta, Juice and Powerade. In his role, Jonathan oversees marketing communications strategies, insights, core creative idea development and content production
 
Naouri has been the Chief Operating Officer of Publicis Groupe SA since June 2010 and Member of the Management Board since January 1, 2008. Naouri has been Executive Chairman of Publicis Worldwide since March 2011. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Technology SA. Naouri served as an Executive Vice President of Operations of Publicis Groupe SA from September 9, 2006. Previously, in November 2000, he was appointed President of Publicis Conseil in Paris. From April 2003, Mr. Naouri served as Regional Chairman for Publicis Worldwide agencies in Northern Europe and Country Chairman for Publicis Germany. 
 
Love is responsible for helping Omnicom and its clients be more collaborative and effective at global brand-building, an area in which his own background and expertise are particularly well suited. His experience is diverse and extensive, providing him with the unusual perspective of a true citizen of the world.
 
King became chief executive officer, Zenith Media Europe, Middle East and Africa, in August 1997. In October 2001, he was appointed Chief Executive of ZenithOptimedia EMEA and subsequently Worldwide CEO in March 2004.
 
Murty has over 20 years of experience in marketing and general management across the region. In his current role he drives strategy and manages all aspects of the brand and marketing for Intel’s Asia Pacific region including Advertising and Media. Murty joined Intel in the year 2000 and spent the first 4 years as Director Marketing for the South Asia region. He has had various stints in brand and agency management prior to Intel.
 
Commenting on the impressive line up of Advertising Conclave speakers, Arvind Sharma, chairman, Goafest 2012, said, “We have lined up a great festival and a fabulous line up of speakers for the Conclave as well as the seminars. Goafest 2012 is being organized by AAAI and Ad Club Bombay in partnership for the 5th year. Over the years, specialist areas like Out of Home & Ambient, Design, Digital & Mobile Advertising, Direct, and Integrated Advertisinghave been growing in importance. In recognition of this phenomenon, in 2012, Abbies at Goafest will have provision for Grand Prix in all the nine verticals- the Grand Prix is being introduced in media awards as well.
