Publicis Manila’s Marlon Rivera returns to Fashion Week

After his popular debut in Manila Fashion Week Fall 2009 edition, Publicis Manila’s president and chief creative officer Marlon Rivera put his sophisticated and disciplined accounts management side back in the closet. For the 2010 Spring/Summer runways of  Manila Fashion Week in the SMXX last October 18, he trotted out his relaxed and younger side. He sent out models in loose playsuits and loungewear in cool neutrals that will appeal more to the creative at heart.

For those who want to wear his fashions, Marlon says the designs are fixed but expect the fabric and fit to be customized. The prices fall within the Zara range, which will go well with recessionistas who want budget-friendly couture in January. One thing though, Marlon puts his designer foot down on a couple of things.

"No adding of ruffles, and I don’t do them in fuschia."
