DDB Group Philippines excels at 20th Philippine Quill Awards with First Runner-Up Agency of the Year

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — DDB Group Philippines was named Agency of the Year (AOY) first runner-up at the recently concluded 20th Philippine Quill Awards organized by the IABC Philippines. It garnered a total of six awards – four Excellence and two Merit – for its entry submissions comprising campaigns with some of its valued client partners, namely, Mang Inasal Philippines, PepsiCo Philippines, and the Department of Health.

Quill Awards of Excellence were received by Mang Inasal Philippines and DDB Philippines for the following campaign entries: “Mang Inasal Nation Facebook Group” and “Mang Inasal Family Fiesta TikTok Challenge” under the Communication Management Division’s Customer Relations and Marketing and Brand Communication categories, respectively.

An Excellence Award was received as well by the Philippines’ Grill Expert and DDB Philippines for “#ILoveMangInasal Facebook Page Content Revamp” under the Communication Skills Division’s Social Media category. In addition, Mang Inasal Creators Circle campaign also bagged an Award of Merit under the Communication Skills Division’s Social Media category.

PepsiCo Philippines and DDB MNL received a Quill Award of Excellence for their “Sting Energy-Sarap Na Humahataw” Campaign under the Communication Management Division’s Marketing and Brand Communication category.

The Department of Health‘s “PinasLakas Nationwide Booster Vaccination Campaign” with DDB Group Philippines also received a Quill Award of Merit under the Communication Management Division’s Governmental Communications category.

The Philippine Quill has honored the best communication programs, tools, and research projects across various industries for almost two decades. In its 20th year, awardees this year reportedly came from a crop of over 800 entries, the highest in the Philippine Quill Awards’ history.

DDB Group Philippines also won the highly coveted “Agency of the Year” title at the recently concluded 59th Anvil Awards of the Public Relations Society of the Philippines. The agency group garnered six Gold and 13 Silver Anvils from its entry submissions this year, comprising the group’s impactful campaigns with some of its valued client partners, namely, Mang Inasal Philippines, Jollibee Philippines, PepsiCo Philippines, PLDT, and Asian Hospital.
