MANILA, JUNE 5, 2013 – Sandy Prieto-Romualdez, President of Inquirer Publications Inc. (IPI) and Philippine Daily Inquirer CEO, has announced that Renato Reinoso is IPI’s new chief operating officer, effective June 1. Reinoso assumes the new role concurrent to his designation as COO of the Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Reinoso is to oversee all operations with the goal of helping ensure that market-share and revenue targets are attained. More specifically he will be in charge of growing key departments of the Inquirer Publications, including advertising sales, circulation, classifieds and human resources.
Reinoso said that that there was a great amount of potential in this space, where readers could affordably acquire relevant news and information, and advertisers could be able to connect with their target audiences more efficiently via the Inquirer Group’s print products. He added that his goal is to strategically align efforts to reach and engage an expanding range of readers and audiences on print.
