Saatchi promotes Diyco, hires Tee

THE PHILIPPINES, AUGUST 23, 2012: Fresh from its Titanium shortlist turn at Cannes, Ace Saatchi & Saatchi has beefed up its creative bench strength, promoting Trixie Diyco and luring Denise Tee away from TBWA \ Santiago Maganda Puno.
With the shop for the past four years, Diyco has been promoted to vice president in addition to her creative director role, which will see her becoming “mother” to the agency’s creative team. Tee has been named head of art.
Describing Diyco’s promotion and one of the proudest moments of his time at Saatchi, executive creative director Andrew Petch said: “What makes Trixie truly special, is that she has not only achieved the highest accolades of her career here, but she has helped me to ensure every single person who comes here achieves it too – this is what makes her a wonderful creative leader and a worthy VP on our board.
“I have tasked her with working across all accounts to lift our creative product and with innovating new systems and services to benefit our people and our clients. She is absolutely critical to me personally and the agency in cementing our goal –  to not only be one of the world’s most creatively lauded agencies, but one of the world’s most creatively influential.”
Diyco’s 2011 work on Ariel Detergent, Safeguard and Cadbury have delivered a haul of metal for the agency.
Tee joins the agency less than a year after she was promoted to associate creative director at TBWA \ SMP on the strength of her work on the highly-awarded Boysen campaign. Petch described Tee as a “critical appointment”, noting that she would be partnering directly with all Saatchi creative directors to lift the agency’s creative execution across all channels, while also pushing its ideation process, product innovation, integration and training.
