MANILA, PHILIPPINES — At the heart of the NCCA Gallery, forgotten book pages find a second life reborn as art in Living Pages, a stunning exhibit by robotics engineer and sculptor Sven Wilbur Lim.
Blurring the lines between literature and visual storytelling, Lim transforms discarded book pages into intricate sculptures that bring beloved childhood tales to life. Cinderella, Snow White, and Alice in Wonderland take on new dimensions, reinterpreted through Lim’s imaginative lens. Each sculpted scene invites viewers to rediscover these timeless narratives with fresh eyes.
More than just an homage to classic literature, Living Pages is a journey into memory, a tactile celebration of the stories that shaped us. The exhibit is open to the public at the NCCA Gallery from February 3 to February 28, 2025, welcoming visitors daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
