APPIES features Leo Burnett campaigns for Coke, Camella

ASIA-PACIFIC – Leo Burnett Manila’s campaigns for Coke Zero, Real Leaf green tea and Camella Homes figured prominently at the recently concluded APPIES 2010, the region’s first marketing and advertising congress. Burnett was the only Philippine participant to the congress which featured 100 marketing campaigns from 16 countries in the region.

APPIES 2010 recognizes, acknowledges and rewards marketing campaigns that have stood out from the crowd. As the premier marketing congress in the region, APPIES 2010 is the first stage for building an unparalleled platform for the collection of talents who create, strategize and contribute to highly effective marketing campaigns in the Asia Pacific.

Leo Burnett Manila’s AVP-Business Development Director Sue Ann Nolido presented “Bulilit”, the award-winning campaign developed by the agency for Camella/Vista Land & Lifescapes, while AVP-Account Management Director Cathy Nicolay shared the success of “Dare to Start with Zero” of Coke Zero and “100% ON” of Real Leaf green tea both for The Coca-Cola Export Company.

While each of the campaign presented has been recognized for creativity and effectiveness in their own country, presenting them at APPIES 2010 is a fast track for clients and businesses in the region looking for inspiration and ideas.

The two-day congress offered opportunities to engage in discussions with the originators of each of the campaigns and discover what it takes to create the most effective work that drives ROI for organizations.

“We were privileged to share our successful campaigns with the rest of marketers in the region.  We, at Leo Burnett, believe that when you create human value to the brand, you create value for your clients.” Raymond Arrastia, Leo Burnett Manila managing director, said.
