Meet the Ad Stars 2015 Executive Jury

BUSAN – It’s one day before the final judging of Ad Stars 2015 in Busan, South Korea. Let’s get to know the top brass members of the executive jury.

Jean-Remy von Matt, Chief Creative Officer and Founder of Jung von Matt AG is the executive judge for Design and Print. With over 1000 colleagues and with offices in seven countries in the heart of Europe and Beijing, Jung von Matt has been the most successful German-speaking agency in Europe for the past 20 years when it comes to creativity and effectiveness.

Handling Film, Film Craft and Video Stars categories is J. Walter Thompson Worldwide Chief Creative Officer Matt Eastwood. Matt has a career spanning numerous agencies across Australia, UK and the US, and numerous accolades and honors in the bag. He was a founding partner of M&C Saatchi Australia.

The Diverse Insights, Outdoor, PSA and Place Brand will be headed by Jose Miguel Sokoloff, President of Mullen Lowe Group Global Creative Council and Co-Chairman and CCO of Lowe SSP3 Colombia. Jose Miguel is one of the leading Latin American creatives and agency leaders. He has won Latin America its first D&AD Black Pencil and Titanium Lion.

Meanwhile, Merlee Jayme, Chairmom and Chief Creative Officer of DM9 JaymeSyfu will be leading the juries for Interactive, Mobile, Integrated, Radio, and Innovation categories. Merlee co-founded the 2013 Agency of the Year, DM9 JaymeSyfu 9 years ago. She was the only woman who got in the top 20 Creative Directors in Asia, was a Hall of Fame Awardee of the Creative Guild of the Philippines and was also a New York Festivals Creative Achievement Awardee.

Completing the line up of the executive jury is Suthisak Sucharittanonta, Chairman and Chief Creative Officer of BBDO Proximity Thailand. He will be heading the Direct, PR, Media and Promotion category. He won Thailand’s first Gold Cannes Lion and has also won awards across major shows such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, and One Show.
