Campaign Spotlight: SEAOIL and Dentsu One Manila pumps excitement with Break Free From Gas-tos campaign

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – SEAOIL Philippines, in partnership with Dentsu One Manila, brings a new groove into fuelling up with its newly launched Break Free From Gas-tos campaign. Promoting the Philippine-based petrol company’s Lifetime Free Gas promo during the quarantine was the challenge posed in the multi-agency pitch. To address it, Dentsu One Manila chose to break free from the conventional “inspiring” video route and created an irreverent hip-hop inspired music video to win the project.

The video showcases an earworm of a jingle written by D1M Sr. Copywriter Andro Abustan (with musical arrangement by Hero Mauricio of Sound Design, Inc.), and choreography that was performed by an all-dancer cast to emphasize how a lifetime supply of free gas is worth dancing about, especially during these challenging times. 


With their Break Free From Gas-tos campaign, SEAOIL looks to fuel the hopes of Filipinos as they move forward towards their recovery from the pandemic.
