Campaign Spotlight: Thought Bulb’s International Women’s Equality Day Campaign removes double standards in dialogue

MUMBAI INDIA— Design and advertising agency Thought Blurb has released a digital campaign that pushes for women’s equal rights to be beyond an advocacy.

The campaign shows how everything all starts from home. Things that are commonly said to women were switched to show how stereotypical the dialogue are.

The film opens with a boy being told: “You drive really well… for a boy”, and follows the sequence of men being asked to keep their legs closed when they sit or questions like “If you go to work, who will take care of the house?”

Encouraging speaking to women as equals, the ad points out that if something sounds wrong when said to boys, then it is also wrong to say it to the women in society.
