Campaign Spotlight: Sino Malls present Valentine’s Day initiative “Love in the City” one-minute love note on 4000m2 LED wall of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre “Love You” message in different languages for all to send their love

HONG KONG – Here comes the chance to make a grand gesture this Valentine’s Day! Organised by six Sino Malls – tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, Gold Coast Piazza and Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre – the “Love in the City” initiative will allow those with an important message to say to their valentine to do so on the 4,000-square-metre-large LED façade of Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre.

It is understandable that many citizens, expatriates and domestic helpers have not been able to return to their hometown these past two years due to the travel restrictions under the pandemic. For the general public, the “Love in the City” initiative will provide a once-in-a- lifetime opportunity to make a public declaration of love on a gigantic LED wall free of charge. For the chance to take part, interested parties can complete a simple online registration via www.sinopromotions.com and share a heartstrings-pulling reason for wanting to show a message on the LED screen on or before 7 February 2022. Besides, all participants will also receive a photo of love message in their first language on the LED facade by email in advance, so they can send the love note to their special ones in other parts of the world on Valentine’s Day. As the number of messages is limited, they will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis only.

Meanwhile, a motion picture carrying the words “love you” in many different languages will be showing on the LED façade at irregular intervals between 12 and 15 February. The love-filled motion picture is hoped to provide a backdrop for people, whatever their nationalities, to take selfies for sending to their loved ones living in other parts of the world to convey their infinite longing.

Proclaiming one’s love on a large-scale outdoor screen is no longer a thing that only happens in TV dramas or the privilege of the rich and famous. All one needs to do is become an S+ REWARDS member!

From now to Feb. 3, 2022 (“promotion period”), S+ REWARDS members who have accumulated a spending of HK$3,000 or more made via electronic payment at merchants from designated categories* at four Sino Malls (tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk and China Hong Kong City) can enter the “Love in the City” initiative for the chance to have a love message displayed on the LED façade for one minute on Valentine’s Day.

Once having accumulated the above designated spending amount, members can use 30 S Points to register to take part in the initiative between 31 January and 9 February 2022 (“registration period”). As part of the registration process, members will need to choose from one of five pre-set messages (“I Love You”, “Marry Me”, “Happy Valentine’s Day”, “Love You 3000” and “每天愛你多一些”), provide the names of the recipient and sender of the message, and give a special reason for wanting to show a message on the LED wall. Those selected for the initiative will each have their message shown on the massive Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre LED façade for one whole minute on Valentine’s Day.

Alternatively, S+ REWARDS members can register using 50 S Points upon accumulating a spending of HK$500 made via electronic payment during the promotion period at six Sino Malls (tmtplaza, Olympian City, Citywalk, China Hong Kong City, Gold Coast Piazza and Tsim Sha Tsui Centre & Empire Centre), or 75 S Points without spending. All registrations should be done within the registration period with the relevant information provided. As the number of messages is limited, they will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis only.

In addition, the organiser will photograph all the messages on the LED façade and email them to the respective participants within 14 business days from 14 February 2022, so that the participants can relive the memorable moment again and again with their significant others.
