Midea Philippines launches video series highlighting everyday happiness

MANILA, PHILIPPINES — Midea Philippines, one of the country’s frontrunners in the home appliances industry, strengthens its commitment to delivering happiness to Filipino homes as it launches its new video series, showcasing different perspectives on happiness of selected personalities and professionals.

In its first episode, Midea featured Shamcey Supsup-Lee, architect and Miss Universe 2011 third runner-up, wherein she shared her views on life’s simple joys and how her career contributes to it.

“For me, happiness is all about the choices we make, big or small. As an architect, my main goal is to help my clients choose only the best, from helping them build their dream home to turning it into a space filled with happiness, whether they are spending time together at home or even while they’re doing their chores. I make sure that I recommend products or appliances that best suit their needs.”


When asked about her advice for those who seek genuine happiness, Shamcey shared, “Don’t go looking for happiness in other people or things. Happiness comes from within. Yes, our family, friends, and jobs can make us happy, but at the end of the day, it’s up to us,” emphasizing that genuine happiness can only be found within oneself.

The video series aims to amplify Midea’s Discover Happiness campaign, solidifying its commitment to highlighting small, joyful moments experienced at home or in life. Whether cooking together in the kitchen, doing laundry, or simply lounging in the living room, these mundane moments are transformed into opportunities for family bonding and cherished memories.
