MANILA, PHILIPPINES – League of Legends: Wild Rift is celebrating its fifth anniversary with an array of in-game events, new content, and an exclusive musical collaboration featuring NINGNING of the global K-pop group aespa. The milestone marks half a decade since the mobile version of Riot Games’ hit MOBA launched globally—ushering in a celebration that honors both the game’s evolution and its passionate community.
At the heart of the anniversary festivities is “Miss This Life,” an upbeat electro-pop track performed by NINGNING and produced by Riot Games. The song captures the emotional journey of players—from their college days to adulthood—mirroring the growth and enduring stories of Wild Rift’s champions. It embodies themes of nostalgia, progress, and self-discovery, resonating with fans who have grown alongside the game over the years.
The track will debut both in-game and on major streaming platforms, accompanied by a music video that pays tribute to fan-favorite champions, key in-game moments, and the shared history of the Wild Rift community.
In addition to the music release, the anniversary update introduces several major game features:
- Nidalee, the iconic huntress from League of Legends, makes her Wild Rift debut, bringing a new dynamic to jungle gameplay.
- The AAARAM game mode receives an update featuring pro player-inspired Augments, adding fresh strategic layers to fan-favorite chaos.
- The global grassroots competition series Wild Rounds: SMASH continues to expand, now spanning over 20 regions and drawing thousands of players worldwide. The next tournament installment is scheduled for November 14–16 in Vietnam.
