Integration: Out with matching luggage, in with meaningful messaging

THE PHILIPPINES, APRIL 20, 2012: Held at the upstairs bar of Edifice Studios, last night’s RAW school featured Tony Sarmiento chief collaborator for Collab Manila as professor for the night.
Sarmiento talked about how integration will foster the creation of something better. Abiding by the 5Cs which Collab Manila practices, he shared how these will help creative minds to prepare in the creation of Ideas. According to him a community is a group of people within the target market thus to be put into consideration are the varying individuals within the community. Content according to him is not merely a headline but a big message that can be brought to different platforms. In relation to that, one single good message would then make for a clear and communicable context. A strong message if rightfully executed can start and create a powerful culture. Good community, content, context and culture would all be then translated to good commerce.
Out with the old and in with the new as ‘Matching Luggage’ should be thrown and replaced with the Integration as ‘meaningful messaging’ – One message not just said in different mediums but one message said meaningfully in different mediums.
Ending his talk, Tony had this to say to RAW school students: “Be open and know that you know nothing, be prepared and look for the 5 C’s answers and lastly, be a builder and make it happen.”
