Publicis JimenezBasic’s Rogue One: Mask for Globe wins Best Short-Form Film at Brand Film Festival

MANILA – Right on the heels of International Star Wars Day on May 4, a short film by Publicis JimenezBasic for Globe has earned international recognition.

‘Globe Rogue One,’ or ‘Rogue One: Mask,’ produced by Film Pabrika for Globe Telecoms to coincide with last year’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, was recognized as Best Short-Form film by the Brand Film Festival.

Held in New York, the 2nd annual Brand Film Festival showcased the year’s most artistic, creative, and effective branded content films, from YouTube videos to long-form documentaries. This unique gathering honors a new generation of marketing storytellers, while rewarding the brands, agencies, and craftspeople leading the way in their fields.

This latest honor for the campaign comes on the heels of it winning the Grand Kidlat at the Kidlat Awards held in Boracay this past March. At the same Kidlat Awards, ‘Rogue One: Mask’ also won two Golds in Craft for Best Direction and Best Editing, making Film Pabrika the 2017 Production House of the Year.

Already a favorite of both Star Wars and non-Star Wars fans alike, these wins clearly show that The Force is strong with this campaign.
