TeamManila celebrates 20 years with 'DIWA' group exhibit

MANILA, PHILIPPINES – Legendary graphic designed lifestyle store TeamManila is turning 20 this year (25 years if you count the original at Team Manila Graphic Design Studio), and to mark this creative milestone is a homecoming exhibit event.

Happening this May 24, 2025 at Suez & Zapote in Makati, TeamManila’s alumni will be having “DIWA”, a special group exhibit that brings together the mix of creative energies that made what the brand is today.

“DIWA” aims not just to be your regular reunion, but a celebration of featured works from alumni creatives, ranging from the designers, art directors, illustrators, photographers, marketers and of course, the founders Jowee Alviar and Raymund Punzalan, who’ve helped shape TeamManila through the years. This exhibit is a collaborative effort by all the creatives mentioned.

To explain, “DIWA” is a Tagalog term that means essence or consciousness, and in line with the exhibit, it reflects the spirit of creativity and community. The exhibit explores how each creative’s experiences, growth, and personal journeys inform their design perspectives.

From the early days of experimenting with identity and culture, to becoming a strong voice in Filipino graphic design, this exhibit is a heartfelt tribute to the community behind the brand.
