Formerly bearing the Ogilvy name but physically and conceptually located beside WPP sister agency Bates 141, activation team Ogilvy Action returns to its home network Oct. 1 — but without its people, who will be absorbed in toto by Bates 141.
Former OA General Manager Angel Antonio joins Bates as General Manager & Chief Action Officer, handling Account Management, Activation & Logistics Planning, and New Business; Joey Ong joins as Creative Director and Head of Art, directly handling activations. Bates 141 Co-General Manager and Executive Creative Director Cats Guerrero retains those duties, as well as responsibility for strategic planning.
