The section also features notable works such as Lav Diaz’s Magellan, the Philippines’ official entry to the 98th Academy Awards, and Jerrold Tarog’s Quezon, starring Jericho Rosales.
Adding to its growing list of accolades, Combo on the Run is also nominated for Best International Film Documentary at the ISFMF, one of the world’s most significant festivals for sound and film music, set to open on October 6, 2025.
