Ogilvy & Mather China dominates Greater China Effie Awards 2016

BEIJING – The advertising industry recently honored some of the most effective campaigns of the year at the Greater China Effie Awards 2016 in Haikou. Clinching four gold, two silver and four bronze awards for work done for a variety of clients including Huggies, Fortile and others, Ogilvy & Mather China once again confirmed its reputation as the world’s Most Effective Network.

Established in 1968, the Effie Awards is intended to recognize and encourage success and creativity in marketing communications. It has long been recognized as the gold standard by advertisers and agencies worldwide in terms of measuring advertising effectiveness. The Greater China Effie Awards, sponsored by the China Advertising Association, awards effective advocacy and dissemination of ideas, and also acts as a platform from which marketers can engage in dialogue about the future of the industry. This year, many of the marketing industry elite presented innovative multi-marketing campaigns demonstrating an advanced understanding of “effectiveness and creativity” that provide an encouraging indication of the future development of marketing trends in China.

Ogilvy & Mather China collected a total of 10 awards from a variety of categories including electronics, media, fashion, etc. to once again become the most awarded agency at the ceremony.
