AD STARS 2019: Open Stage Returns this Year with Mentorship Sessions and Creative School

BUSAN, Korea – Ad Stars returns this year with the Open Stage session on August 24 at the Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO). Hatched out of the mission to raise awareness for creative solutions that change the world beyond the advertising sector, the Open Stage session is free of charge and open to the general public. 

This year Open Stage will feature Leo Burnett India’s Group Executive Creative Director, Kumuda Rao in her talk entitled URL vs IRL. Slated at 1:00 PM is a panel session with mentors Geumbyul Bae, Creative Director at Innocean Worldwide, and Jihoon Lee, Content Director of TBWA. The job mentorship session will be moderated by Jaehong Kim. 

Apart from the mentrorship session, it will also include Creative School sessions with Sabum Byun, Co-Founder and Creative Director of PlusX in his talk: Sharing Experiences; and Kolleen Park, Theater Director in her session called: What Keeps You Up At Night?  


With this year’s theme ‘Influence,’ Ad Stars is expected to gather the some of the region’s creative thinkers and leaders in cutting-edge technology. The festival opened August 22, and will end on August 24.
