PHILIPPINES, MAY 3, 2011 – adobo magazine brings football to Boracay with the first-ever Kidlat Awards Beach Football game, a friendly pick-up game open to everyone involved in the Creative Guild and KBP’s Kidlat Awards 2011.
The game will be on Wednesday, May 4 at 3:30 on the beach outside Obama Grill, Boracay, just before the presentation of the Kidlat Awards. To sign up, text Bob Guerrero at 09175324785. Participants are requested to bring a light shirt and a dark shirt.
adobo is a long-time supporter of Philippine football and organizes the annual Adobo Football Cup for the ad industry. The magazine also sponsored the official cinema screening of Jim Libiran’s futkalero film Happyland in March.
Before the game on Wednesday, Adobo Football Cup co-organizer Bixie Reyes also invites FC Barcelona in Boracay to view the UEFA CL semis Classico of Barça-Madrid Leg 2 viewing at BADABLING Sports Bar in d’ mall. Kick-off is at 2:30am on May 4.
