BBDO/Proximity Singapore appoints Nokia’s Lian-Shi Ho as Head of Digital

ASIA-PACIFIC – SINGAPORE, MAY 2011 – BBDO/Proximity Singapore appointed Lian-Shi Ho to the position of Head of Digital. Ho will carry the overall responsibility for the delivery of digital projects for the agency’s local and international clients, continue to build digital capabilities and teams, and manage the Proximity brand in Singapore. 
 
Ho has spent the last eight years working at Nokia in a number of roles in Asia and Europe. Prior to joining BBDO/Proximity, Ho was a Senior Manager for Digital Marketing in the global Marketing Creation team based in the UK. In this role, she was the Digital Marketing lead for the music and entertainment category and more recently, for the Series 40 tier of Nokia’s mobile phone portfolio. She has managed the creation and launch of world-class digital and mobile marketing campaigns for roll out in countries around the world which all had effective return-on-investment at their core.  
 
In her own words, Ho has a love affair with marketing and consumer psychology and see the digital space as her playground. Having spent 10 years in global and regional roles researching for consumer insight, trendspotting in digital and popular culture to discover innovative ways to reach and engage with target audiences, Ho is at the leading edge of her field.
