CANNES – This year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the shortlists for Media Design Lions. Out of 259 shortlisted entries, US has 57, followed by Australia with 23 and Brazil with 22.
VML Kansas City helped in getting US its lead with 7 entries in total. The company’s ‘The Colorblind Viewer’ for Tennessee Department for Tourist Development has been shortlisted in the categories: Travel, Use of Ambient Media: Large Scale, Use of Stunts, and Use of Technology. ‘100 LB Coupon’ for Dick’s Sporting Goods was shortlisted under Use of Ambient Media: Small Scale and ‘Giforade’ for Pepsico grabbed shortlists under the categories: Use of Social Platforms and Use of Branded Content Created for Digital or Social.
Meanwhile, Procter & Gamble Cincinnati brought US 5 shortlists and BBDO New York gave 4.
