TBWAMalaysia hires two new creatives

ASIA-PACIFIC – KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA, February 23, 2012: TBWAMalaysia beefs up its creative team with two new hires Chow Kok Keong as creative director and Tan Kit Send as associate creative director.
 
Chow has won more than 60 international awards including metal at Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia last year. Chow and Jit have proven team chemistry, having worked together at Naga DDB in 2007.
 
“TBWAMalaysia has gone through a cultural transition over the past few months and part of that transition is a shift in how we want to be recognized among our peers,” said managing director, Aaron Cowie. “Our theme for all staff in 2012 is ‘Disrupt Us,’ which is about evaluating ourselves and challenging the status quo,” he added.
 
“TBWA is a creative ideas company. The recent management changes at TBWAMalaysia over the past few months have also allowed us to shift towards a more creative focus in Southeast Asia. Having Chow and Jit on board puts us in an excellent position to change the face of our creative department," commented Jeff Orr, executive creative director.
 
“Chow and Jit will help us achieve our goal of greater collaboration with the TBWA network and delivering iconic ideas for our clients,” added Cowie. “We’re absolutely thrilled to have them on board.”
