CANNES — This year’s Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the shortlists for Entertainment Lions, Entertainment for Music Lions, Design Lions, Media Lions, and Product Design Lions.
Out of 191 shortlisted entries for Entertainment Lions, 19 came from Asia. Under Entertainment for Music Lions, 6 out of 75 came from the said region.
Asia produced a considerable haul of 57 out of 278 entries for the Design Lions shortlist, led by Dentsu Inc. Tokyo with eight entries, Hakuhodo Inc. with four, DDB Dubai, Leo Burnett India, McCann Tokyo, and Grey Dubai with three each.
For the Media Lions, 35 entries out of 290 came from Asia. The Philippines had two shortlisted entries both from Y&R Philippines for ‘Liter Lottery’ with Chevron Philippines and ‘Facebook Memories’ with Rock Ed Philippines.
Under Product Design Lions, Asia gained 17 out of 60 entries respectively.
