Cannes Lions: PH’ Dentsu Jayme Syfu and BBDO Guerrero earn spots in the Design Lions shortlist

CANNES – The Philippines’ Dentsu Jayme Syfu’s ‘Dead Whale’ for Greenpeace and BBDO Guerrero’s ‘Playstreet’ for Johnson & Johnson were shortlisted in the Design Lions 2018.

Dentsu Jayme Syfu’s installation for Greenpeace Philippines bagged a spot under the Non-commercial Exhibitions and Experiences. Dead Whale is a Refuse Plastic campaign which promotes marine conservation by reducing the usage of plastic. The installation was launched just in time for the meeting of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Working Group on Coastal and Marine Environment.

BBDO Guerrero’s campaign for Johnson & Johnson is shortlisted under the Digital Installation & Events category. The sudden influx of traffic in the Philippines resulted in an increased rate of children becoming victims of road accidents. Thus, the campaign Playstreet was launched to help make streets safer for children to play on.
