Clemenger BBDO and Leo Burnett Melbourne dominate APAC shortlist at Clio Awards 2016

APAC – Oz agencies leads the Asia-Pacific finalists with a whopping 18 shortlisted entries at the Clio Awards 2016. Thailand follows with seven while the Philippines, Japan, and Singapore scored four each.

Among the 18 shortlisted entries, Clemenger BBDO claims ten of the slots across different categories. Majority of which are for the campaign, ‘The Boys’ for Bonds. Leo Burnett Melbourne, meanwhile, takes three slots for its campaign, ‘Reborn’ word for Headspace.

Japan agencies, TBWA\Hakuhodo, Watts of Tokyo, Drill and Projector, secure one shortlist each. Dentsu Singapore takes three out of four of Singapore’s shortlisted entries, while the remaining slot was scooped by Saatchi & Saatchi. In the Philippines, TBWA\Santiago Mangada Puno shortlists under two categories while Leo Burnett Manila and Publicis JimenezBasic are shortlisted under one category each.

The finalists for Hall of Fame, Brand Design, Product Design, Film Technique, Public Relations, Audio and Audio Technique will be announced on September 6th.
