Johnson & Johnson pitches regional digital operations

Asia Pacific – Johnson & Johnson (J&J) will pitch its online operation in the region, Media reports.  The consumer health giant intends to streamline its digital marketing activity to three providers, currently run by a dozen digital agencies.

J&J is present in over 250 operations in 57 countries.

The pitch includes J&J’s entire portfolio of consumer, healthcare and pharmaceutical brands.

Having approached target agencies a month ago, presentations will start in two weeks.   Expected in the pitch are current J&J agencies that include: MRM, OgilvyOne, Profero, Proximity and Tribal DDB, among others.

The digital regroup extends to the markets of Europe and Latin America, with each region deciding on their own roster.

Aside from consumer health products, Johnson & Johnson is known for medical devices and diagnostics, pharmaceuticals and other biologics manufacturing, of brands like Neutrogena, Band-Aid, Listerine and Modess.
