Sign up for a starry night at adobo Run After dark on October 29

THE PHILIPPINES, OCTOBER 21, 2011: The stars will align on Saturday, October 29 at the adobo Run After Dark at Aseana City, near Mall of Asia in Pasay. Noted and upcoming personalities from entertainment, business and running are all taking part in the second edition of the novel night run of the country’s premier advertising magazine. 
 
The event’s main beneficiary Isang Litrong Liwanag project headed by social entrepreneur Illac Diaz, who will be in a general’s costume as he runs with a whole platoon of real-life soldiers in the 5k category. GMA Artist Center’s rising jewel Gwen Zamora will don her Cinderella costume from the telefantaserye Grazilda as she joins the 3k category. The two are seen here in posters created by the race organizer and creative agency Crush Communications.

Noted sports host and personality Rovilson Fernandez and ace comedian Bearwin Meily are keeping their costumes under wraps as they set their sights on beating their personal bests in the virtually flat course of the 15k category. 
 
Will the Playboy Playmates be in their bunny outfits as they strut it out throughout the 3k course? Join adobo Run After Dark to find out. More celebrities are reportedly going to make surprise participation in their chosen race categories in the adobo Run, undoubtedly the biggest night race of the year.
 
Asia Brewery big boss Bong Tan himself has confirmed his participation in the race, as have agencies and companies from the advertising and marketing communications industry that adobo magazine caters to.

For the after-run party, Ebe Dancel, formerly of Sugarfree, will be jamming with the race participants, as will rock band Stonefree and rising indie band Blue Boy Bites. Other standout bands will perform live music post-run.
 
Top Filipina marathoners Mercedita Manipol and Joan Banayag are all set to claim the spotlight in the 5k and 15k categories, respectively, their first outings in a night run. Providing top-class competition to our home-grown running heroines are the formidable slew of Kenyan runners.
 
Registration for the adobo Run After Dark has been extended to Friday, October 28.
